Volunteers make Halfway to Home and the work that we do possible. We would be lost without our core group of volunteers. They put in countless hours caring for and socializing the dogs. They drive hundreds of miles each week to pick up dogs from shelters and individuals who relinquish them. They work at the rescue cleaning up after and feeding 75 dogs every day. Our devoted foster home volunteers keep and love on our overflow of dogs, allowing us to rescue so many more. We have 6-10 volunteers at every adoption event. If you love dogs and would like to give even a few hours of time each week, please contact us.
